VintageClarice Cliff Bizarre “Scarlet Flower” 8 3/4” Plate
Thisstriking and vivid lightly scalloped edged plate in the hard-to-findScarlet Flower pattern measures a little under 9” and has theClarice Cliff Bizarre backstamp in gold on the bottom.
Itis in very good condition (no chips or repairs) with the followingnoted: overall light to moderate crazing both front (more visible onback) that can be seen at certain angles, a 1.5” knife scratch tothe left of centre which can be seen at certain angles in the light (difficult to see in photos) Also there are a few tiny dots of what appears to be the blue andgreen glazes in the flowers and leaves near the edge at 9 o\'clock anda few glaze skips on the black lines here and there. There is lightwear (could be from stacking) to the red glaze in the larger flower.
