Up for sale a vintage handmade crazy quilt. A very nice old quilt, made of vintage feed sack and cotton material, The embroidery around the fabric is wonderful and I think it is call Turkey Tracks, the thread used is in different colors adding another unique feature to the quilt, it is signed Mabel, and you can see that it has been hand quilted, and then machine stitched in rows of straight lines to keep the batting from bundling up when it was washed, a very nice touch. A very Shabby, Cottage Chic quilt with so much of the fabric in shades of pink, with a pink cotton backing.The quilt is an old farm quilt and has been used, I found small holes,some fading and just general wear and tear, I have tried to show the damage in the pictures, please take the time to look at them closely, using the zoom feature, you can see both the good and the bad in this quilt, I wish I could add more pictures to the listing, I do not think my pictures do this quilt justice. The colors on your screen do not match the colors of the quilt in real life, my pictures make it look more faded than it really is, I had a lighting problem. A great quilt for use or a nice cutter for crafting projects. I purchased this at a local estate sale and I do guarantee that it is an old quilt. I have not washed or altered it in any way. The quilt measures 73 inches long and 60 inches wide. This will be well wrapped and shipped Priority mail, with insurance and tracking. I try to only charge what the post office charges for shipping, if I make a mistake over 1.00 I will refund the overcharge back.
