This feltcoat and corduroy tam were made by the Ideal Company for their 1958-1962, 12”Shirley Temple doll. These clothing items are part of outfit labeled ‘felt coat w/horse applique and stripped hat’ on page 170 of Tonya Bervaldi-Camaratta’sreference book,The Completeguide to Shirley Temple Dolls and Collectibles.She states that the outfitwas produced in 1961.

The onlyissue with the coat is that there are a couple of large missing pieces on theedge of the collar. Because of thisissue, the coat is in essence added ‘free’ to this sale. Some of Shirley’s clothing were made withoutan attached tag. This item is one of theoutfits without a tag.

The VERY-HARD-TO-FIND tam is in Excellent condition with No Problems.
