DISNEYLAND METALLUNCHBOX AND METAL/GLESS THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1957. This R-6 rare kit features scenes from theattractions at the original Disneyland park in Anaheim, CA, when it firstopened in the 50’s. Beautifully createdby the original art director for Aladdin – Robert O. Burton of HopalongCassidy fame. The iconic Disney Castleis featured on the front panel with my personal favorite Jungle Cruise on theback. Frontierland and Tomorrowland(with the original TWA rocket where you could blast off to the moon) aredepicted on the side panels and the Santa Fe and Disneyland Railroad station atthe entrance to the park on the top. Thethermos shows the Mark Twain Riverboat as it paddlewheels around Tom Sawyer’sIsland. A beautiful example of thisclassic Americana - and a must have for the original Disneyland fan!

Condition: Box is complete and correct (including the original wirethermos holder). Box lithos are clean and glossy throughout. Light rim wear on front a bit heavier on the back - with just one corner dimple on the top right of the back panel. Metal hardware is free of rust. Inside is also clean with light rubbings - and free of any previousowner markings. In overall Excellent plus C-8.5 condition. Thermos lithos are good overall with light rust and pitting - in overall Fine plus C-7.5 condition.
