VINTAGE c. 1940 ROYAL DOULTON
\"offerDY PENNYFARTHING \" Figurine HN 1843 ARTIST SIGNEDThis is a VINTAGE EARLIEST MARK DATED c. 1940 ROYAL DOULTON \"offerDY PENNYFARTHING \" Figurine HN 1843 is ARTIST SIGNED. This fantastic piece measures 9 1/4\" tall, 5 1/4\" across the widest part and is 4\" deep. The piece is BEAUTIFUL, HIGHLY FINISHED and EXTREMELY COLLECTABLE. This figure shows offerdy hawking her wares of beautiful yellow flowers and brightly colored balloons. Colors are VIBRANT. It is artist signed \"M\" on the left of the logo (see picture). It has a date number 13 to the right of the logo. It comes complete with the original foil \"Royal Doulton England\" sticker and box from Henry Morgan\'s Colonial House in Montreal, Canada. My research and The Royal Doulton Backstamp dates the piece c.1940 for this COPR 1938 figure which means this is the Earliest Stamp for this Leslie Harradine design. I have no further information on this piece. I have priced it for quick sale. There are no issues that I can see, just some age crazing and a little shelf wear. The box is torn and has no lid but the figure is in FANTASTIC VINTAGE CONDITION. I leave any cleaning to you, the collector.
