This framed sterling silver locomotive features the Baldwin “Tiger” from 1856. Issued by Franklin Mint, the Certificate of Authenticity (August 15, 1977) is attached on the reverse. Also noted on the back:

“This Sterling silver silhouette has been protected with an invisible coating that prevents tarnishing. In addition, it has been permanently sealed in transparent acrylic plastic.” They recommend that no attempt should be made to break the sealed protection as this could damage the silver silhouette.

The frame measures 15” wide X 8” tall X ¾” deep. Has hooks and wire attached for wall hanging.
