Vintage, and very rare, extremely detailed, very highly decorated 3 dimensional wall hanging Christmas Nativity Collector\'s Plate by The Franklin Mint Heirloom Recommendation.\"The Nativity\". Handcrafted. Limited Edition.Numbered: po8015.In the center of the plate is the Nativity: Baby Jesus, Mother Mary, & Father Joseph. They are surrounded by 6 Angels and 12 Cherubs.Mary\'s gown is pink and her robe is blue. Joseph wears a green garment and a brown robe. He carries a gold staff. Baby Jesus is dressed in white. The Angels and Cherubs are all dressed in white with blue stoles or sashes. All the angels and cherubs have gold wings. The background is vaguely outdoors, green, with a few faint trees or rocks. The entire plate is intensely detailed - every face is clearly detailed, the hands are 3 dimensional with exquisite fingers, all gesturing toward Baby Jesus.Please see photographs for details of the plate and its condition.The plate is 10\" in diameter and 1.75\" thick, from the base of the plate to one of the Angels\'s heads.The plate weighs about 3 lbs.The plate is made of porcelain and composite material.It is handcrafted, hand painted, and decorated with gold.The edges are rimmed with gold, and are designed to accomodate a plate holder for hanging on the wall.CONDITION: One Angel\'s inner hand is missing (4 o\'clock position) and the plate needs further cleaning.
