VINTAGE FRENCH 1930\'S LARGE CROCODILE LEATHER AND BRASS DOCTORS GLADSTONE KIT BAG HOLDALL
Length - 57 cm - 22 1/2\"
Height - 33 cm - 13\"
Depth - 25 cm 9 3/4\"
A very nice French vintage Crocodile embossed leather Doctors bag with nickel plated brass and steel fittings dating from the 1930\'s
In very good original condition and a nice rich tan colour with a good patina, leather is generally in good condition with some marks and wear as you might expect to see , there is a small hole on one corner and also some losses along the top metal rail(please see detail pics)
Has a good working nickel plated brass catch in the centre with additional turning closures at each end and two sturdy buckled leather straps that go right around the bag, nickel plating is in nice condition with a little wear and tarnishing, both straps in good order with a small loss to the stitching at one end on one of them. Two fold down carrying handles both in good condition.
Has an over centre stay at each end to hold the bag open, both in good working order
Lined in a tan coloured heavy cotton material with two pockets, lining in good condition with no tears or repairs
