Offered here is a very fine VINTAGE SPINING FISHING REEL: A GARCIA MITCHELL MODEL 300, VINTAGE 1970, MADE IN FRANCE. This very fine spinning reel is in very goodcondition. The bale opens and closes easily and the reel turns with ball-bearing ease. This older model 300 has the two pronged leverat the back of the reel. The handle is original and the body of the reel is clean andit has no majorscratches. Thesilver on the bail is slightly pitted-tarnished, but that does not effect the usefulness of this fine reel. The only apology that I can see is that the original owner scratched his SS# on the reel forid. I remember using a reel like this as a boy in the 1970\'s...my first reel...and one of my favorites.
