Up for offer is a vintage German bayonet Gewehr 98 cut down, pre WW1. In well used condition, bayonet is cut down to 12\" length from 14.5\". Blade marked R.O.M. Scemmerda. Blade has scratches and light rust. Wood handle is tight. Has a little crack on right side front. Overall length of 17 1/4\". Comes with un marked steel sheath. Sheath has light dents and scratches. Sheath is painted black. Overall length is sheath is 17 3/4\".The Holidays are coming, this would make a great gift for that special collector or for yourself!
