Up for sale is this fabulous VINTAGE MODERNIST HEAVY CAST BRONZE METAL ABSTRACT FIGURAL MENORAH circa MID-CENTURY.Wow this is a very unique and beautiful MENORAH! There is a row on a curved base of 6 figures at different heights, holding their arms up in the air with their hands used as the candle holders. So clever! Some have two hands up, one with on hand up, one has it\'s hands by their waist etc. Wonderful placement of heights and shapes!My pictures do not do this piece justice. The color is basically a muddy dark olive green tone with other colors within the metal. Almost looks like it comes from the earth. When you light the candles the faces and figures look animated, even with their abstract modernist style!Measures approximately12 inches across X 7 1/2\" inches tall at the highest point which is the SHAMAS. There is some wax residue here and there, I did not attempt to clean it, but overall condition is very good used condition. The bottom of the Menorah has four small square cork pieces, so the piece does not slip. This is the way I purchased it from an Estate Sale.
Now again this is a very heavy substantial piece. I love that about it.
Talk about a Menorah to add to your JUDAICA COLLECTIBLES.
