STERLING SILVER AND TURQUOISE FLYING DUCK BELT BUCKLE BY NATIVE AMERICAN HOPI SILVERSMITH JOHNNY BLUEJAY. (DECEASED) Unique applique style and choice of turquoise used by Blue Jay to execute this piece of art. Blue Jay specialized in cast work, mostly horse designs with carved turquoise manes and other animals. The bucklemeasures 3" long and 2" wide. Features three a beautiful turquoise settings, two measure approximately 3/4" long and 9-16" wide each and the third one 1/2" by 5/16". The buckle was made to fit a 1-3/4" wide belt. A great Native American made and collectible Accessory. The buckle is in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful patina and signed by Blue Jay. Weight 52g.Highly sought after by collectors.
