VINTAGE IMARI WARE, JAPAN

Ginger Jarwith Lid

Measures 5\"Diameter x 6\" H (withLid)

White porcelain decorated in rich Reds and Blues, and accented in
Yellows and Greens. Panels of bamboo, floral, and geometric designs
surround the neck. The body of the jar is decorated on 3-sides with a
larger version of the same bamboo and floral design. The top of the lid
also has the same design as well as a ring of gold around the mid-section.

Excellent Condition. Colors are bright. Finish is glossy. Never used.
There are no chips, scratches, crazing or repairs. There\'s a
manufacturers fracture at the rim (see pic 6). It\'s approx. 1/4\"
and under the glossy glaze finish. It\'s not spreading and cannot
be seen from under the lid (see pic 7).
