VINTAGE INUIT ESKIMO CANADAHAND-CARVED BIRDGREEN ARGILLITE STONE OR SOAPSTONESIGNED SCULPTURE
This is a beautiful hand-carved Inuit Eskimo Canada Carved Bird in either Green Argillite Stone or Soapstone.It is a greenish to brown color with black markings.I don\'t know the age or the region.It is signed on the bottom. Looks like a triangle and then V. P. You can barely see it.You have to wet it in order to see it.On the beak of the bird is a tiny ding on the underside.Please look at the photos.
