Please scroll down under this description for additional views. 10 1/2\" diameter ceramic dinner plate with a very large Alice calling out to the White Rabbit as he passes, \"Alice began, in a low, timid voice, \"If you please, Sir-\" quotation from the text below the image. Stamped on the back: \" From The Original Engravings for Lewis Carroll\'s ALICE\'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND Done By John Tenniel, Hand Colored expressly for INVENTO N.Y. N.Y.\". Plate created circa 1960\'s. From what I have read, Invento was a small company that produced a few lines of china and sold them through specialty stores. The plate has a warm white shiny glaze. The hand painted accents on the Tenniel illustrations is minimal- this is primarily a black and white plate. The condition is very good- no chips, cracks or crazing with a couple of utensil marks and slight wear. I have other plate designs from the Alice In Wonderland dishes listed separately but I am happy to combine for shipping- just PLEASE wait for a combined invoice before paying.
