Condition Definitions for Vintage Jewelry*

Excellent - item has all stones, all mechanisms are in working order, no visible sign of wear although there may be wear visible under magnification or wear appropriate to age in very old pieces.

Very good - itemmay show small amount of visible wear in metal tone/ enamel etc.and possibly more on back side of items, all parts/stones are present, mechanisms working. Item is wearable.

Good - item will show vintage wear in metal tones, may need small repair to pin mechanism, earring clip, enamel, stone missing, but wearable with smallamount of repair.

Fair - item may be missing multiple stones/pieces, have considerable wear in enamel/metal, etc. Possible mechanisms broken, bent in need of repair to be wearable.

POLICIES

Mostitems sold here are used/vintage/antique. They areNOT new unless I indicate otherwise in the listing. As such there will most likely be some sign of wear. I will try to describe any actual flaws on the piece or anything that might make the item unwearable in my opinion. In addition, I will provide photos that can be magnified to detectanything that YOU may find a flaw that I might not.Opinions vary widely regarding condition issues on these items so please check the description, condition and photos to be sure this is what you want. Also, please feel free to ask any questionsyou may have and I will answer them as best I can.If you receive something that you feel was not fully described, please email and every reasonable attempt will be made to resolve the problem.

Handling time is listed as one business day. In most cases, items will be shipped within 1 - 2 business days. Be aware, however, that if you pay be echeck shipment will be delayed until the echeck clears which may take up to a week. If payment for an item is made late in the day on Saturday, that item will be shipped on Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday).

Returns are accepted within 14 days (return shipping at the buyer\'s expense). Most items being sold here are used/vintage and signs of use/wear are to be expected. Items are from a wide variety of places. It is possible that items have been in homes where people smoke or other allergens are present. As opinions differ as to whether (and how) vintage items should be cleaned, only a light cleaning is done here to remove loose dirt/dust. Any additional cleaning desired is left to the buyer. Every attempt will be made to describe condition issues as accurately as possible. Any problems with descriptions, please email (see above).

Unpaid items - Buyers have five days from the date of purchase to pay for their item via Paypal. If there are extenuating circumstances causing a delay beyond that, please email. If there is no contact or the delay is unreasonable, the item will be relisted or offered to the next highest buyer.
