One of the smaller yet quietly elegant coins.Itfeatures a full on view of Mt. Fuji with the Imperial chrysanthemum mon (family crest) above. On the obverse is the \"one sen\" markand\"Dai Nippon\" or great Japan and the date Showa 16 or the 16th year of Showa (1941).

It was minted during WW2 and made of aluminum to save on the moreneeded copperand brass resources for the war effort.Slightly smaller than a dime at 1.6 cm. In fine condition with only moderate wear.
