This beautiful piece of art has been in my family for as long as I can remember. We moved to Japan in 1964 and left in 1968. I do not ever remember not having it. In 1964 my dad was stationed at Tachikawa AFB, Japan, though we lived “off-base”.
It says “Shirokiya” “GFS-7” and “Made in Japan” on the sticker in the back left upper corner.
