You are being offered a Stunning Vintage Japanese Satsuma Style Porcelain Charger with Three Factory Drilled Holes in its Foot so that it can be displayed as a Wall Plaque and it has a Gilded Red Rim and it is decorated in the Thousand Daisies Pattern executed in Hand Painted Green, Red, Black and White Enamels and Gilt. We believe the Charger was made during the 20th Century and it is Artist Signed in Gilt on a Gold Outlined Red Rectangle on its Bottom. (We were told the Charger was given as a gift to its former owner, who was British, while she was living in Japan during the 1950’s and the hand printed Japanese words using the Latin alphabet, which are also written on the Bottom, seems to support that assertion.) The Charger measures a tiny bit over 12 inches in diameter and its Rim is 1¼ inches high when it is sitting flat on a table. Even though the Charger is approximately 60 years old, it’s in Superb Condition and looks Almost New. It doesn’t have any chips, cracks, scratches or repairs and all of the Enamels and Gilding are intact without any signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs on the left for further details.
