VINTAGE JAPANESE TEA CEREMONY IMARI CERAMIC CHANOYU BOWL OCHAKOBOSHI PINE HOUSE:

This is an imari 1930\'s vintage Japanese ochakoboshi(tea ceremony bowl used for storing previously used tea leaves). This ceramic ochakoboshi has a combination of hand painted and transfer print design of detailed village houses, pine trees, mountains, and peasants (see picture 3-7). This ochakoboshimeasures 5\" wide by 2 3/4\" high (12.5 x 6.5 m). All hand made, it is in excellent condition.

While this bowl was specially designed for tea ceremony, it is of a perfect size to serve hors d\'oeurves or any small savory treats.
