VINTAGE KRAZY KAT J CHEIN TIN TOY TEA SET
This is a Vintage J Chein Tin Toy Tea Set known as Krazy Kat/ Felix the Cat. A great history began when this figure started out as a cartoon character created by George Herriman. It was a comic strip that ran from 1913 to 1944. The comic strip may have never really caught on but the toys, figures that were produced have become a sough after collectible.This tea set include, a tray (7-1/2 inches long by 5-1/2 inches wide), 4 plates (4 inches in diameter), 4 saucers (2-1/2 inches in diameter), and 3 cups. The cups are marked J Chein & Co Made in USA.This set has wear, some paint loss and scratches. It was definitely enjoyed and well loved by a younger person. We love when we find those toys or collectible items is near to perfect condition, however, those that have the wear, also seem to have a unique history behind it.
