Up for sale is a Vintage horse harness with mirror on the inside. The harness it about 27 1/2\" tall, 19\" long, 5-6\" wide. The harness is made of leather and has metal accent/fittings. I am unsure of the exact metal but I believe it to be iron. The two metal ball pieces at the top I believe to be the same type of iron, but may be brass that is heavily tarnished. The metal brackets are attached to some kind of wood,and againI am not 100%sure what kind of wood it is. I picked this up at an estate sale because I thought it was really neat. It is in used condition, but I believe still to be in good condition. It has some wear to the leather from age, but has a great patina. There are some areas on this harness where the leather is cracked and split, but overall I would still say that the leather is in good condition. The stitching on the side in an area seems to have come loose and is missing, but I didn\'t really notice this until I was further inspecting this item and looking at it up close. There is some wear to the leather on the backside at the bottom too that is near the glass. I have taken pictures of this so please take a look for yourself. On the top there is a rope that is attached to the leather straps. I think this was put on by someone at one point in time to hang this item. The mirror is in good condition with no cracks and it is very clear. On the backside of the mirror it has what I believe to be the maker of the glass only. It reads Flaconer Durever June 2483. I cleaned this item with leather saddle soap and it did bring back some of the luster of the leather. It may still need a little further cleaning, but I will leave this up to the buyer to do. I have taken several pictures of this item so please take a look for yourself. What you see is what you get. This would be a great item to hang in your home or barn.
