This Volume 4, Number 7 issue of the Mattachine Society, Inc. publication \"Mattachine Review\" from July 1958 features pioneering LGBT-related news, reviews, essays, etc -- and offers and interesting glimpse into the pre-Stonewall period of LGBT history. This vintage, digest-size magazine is a rare find and in very good to good condition; a real collector\'s item with no missing pages, no tears, no writing and virtually no spine/edge wear, but points lost for cover wear that includes faint foxing, mostly near the spine, a large, diagnol crease that affects all pages beneath in the upper left front cover corner, a tiny, easy-to-miss crease in the lower left front cover corner, a slightly irregular cut to the front cover top and all pages beneath that appears to be a slight defect from the original printing (see photo below) -- and, lastly, a small but deep, vertical crease that affects the entire item in the upper right back cover corner .
