A BUSY DOCKSIDE MID CENTURY OIL ON CANVAS PAINTING
A wonderful vintage dockside orientalist scene looking like a scene shot from a Hollywood movie reflecting a typical busy day on the Tangiers harbor dock. A gentleman is tending to his horse drawn cart as some sheep wander aimlessly about. The gentleman\'s best friend is taking all this in as the moored boats to the dock bob up and down and list back and forth to the gentle beat of the rolling waves. In very good vintage condition signed lower r.h. corner and dated (Kirsch 52). Is framed with the original gilded fillet with a grayish tone finish in very good condition with light traces of wear from handling over the past 60+ years. The paper dust cover is still in tact although torn the edges have not been compromised and appears to have never been removed from frame.

Condition: Very good original vintage condition with no rips tears or repairs to canvas the surface exhibits soft color tones aged naturally to reflect a soft colorful patina
