VINTAGE MINK FUR COAT by HENIG FURS (Dark Brown or Black with Reddish-Orange):

This is a genuine Mink Fur Coat. This appears to be a dark brown coat but it looks like there is a hint of reddish-orange to it. This belonged to my Aunt. She passed away over 10 years ago. I believe this was purchased between the 1940’s and 1960’s. It has been in her closet between other clothes, undisturbed for the past 10 years. It should be cleaned. It is not dirty but there is a slight stale air odor to it, not a bad odor, just stale from years of undisturbed storage. It has been indoors in a temper-controlled Environment all its life. I do not see any rips, tears or holes and there is no shedding. I see no defects of any kind on the fur itself and cannot find any stains. There are a couple tags and the name of the first owner is embroidered on the inner right side. There are no pockets. There are 3 hinged snap hooks and loops used for closures. I do not see a stated size anywhere. Measuring the back from the top of the collar as seen in the photo measured to the bottom of the coat is 36 inches. Measuring across the front, armpit to armpit, with the coat closed and stretched, it measures about 25 inches. From the top seam where the collar meets the shoulder measured to bottom edge of the arm cuff, it measures 29 inches. Total weight is 3 pounds 12 ounces.
