DESCRIPTION: This is an old toy car that closely resembles a 1949 Chrysler. Itwas probably given away by a Chrysler dealership as a promotionalitem in 1949. It is marked “Chrysler”, then some unreadablelines, and “Ocean Blue”on the bottom. It is marked “Chrysler”on the trunk. It features wheels that roll. Although I can faintlymake out the manufacturer\'s name “BANTHRICO” on the bottom, thebook “Promotional Cars & Trucks 1934-1983” by Steve Butleridentifies it as a 1949 Chrysler New Yorker made by NationalProducts.

MATERIALS: Factory painted diecast metal with white rubber tires

DIMENSIONS: Measures about 8 inches long, and is 1/24 or 1/25 scale.

CONDITION: Overall in GOOD, SOLID, PLAYED-WITH CONDITION. It has its ORIGINALPAINT with lots of paint chips, scratches, and play wear. The tiresare solid, but do have some age and stress cracks in them. There issomething rattling around loose inside, probably some metal leftoverfrom the manufacturing process.
