Item Description:

This large vintage silver cross pendant was made by well known Navajo silversmith Ira Curtis. Ira is from the Gallup, New Mexico area and has become well known and won many awards for his beautiful tufa cast pieces. This looks to be one of his earlier pieces, created before he began experimenting with tufa casting. It is signed with his ITC hallmark and stamped sterling. It measures 3 3/4\" tall and 2 3/4\" across. The opening of the loop is over 1/4\" and would fit almost any type of chain or tie. It weighs 1.2 ounces or 34 grams. The cross has some silver patina from age and would polish up beautifully if you wished. It is in great vintage
