THE DOG IS IN GREAT AGED CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL SILVER PAINT, DOES HAVE PAINT LOSS AND RUST, A TWO PIECE CONSTRUCTION SCREWED TOGETHER ON THE BOTTOM (THE BOLT WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED WITH A NEW BOLT AT SOMETIME). IT READS ON THE BOTTOM \"MADE BY LAKE CITY MALLEABLE CO CLEVE. OHIO CERTIFIED MALLEABLE\" AND IS SIGNED ON THE BASE TOP \"F. CHAHEY, 29\", IS VERY HEAVY CAST IRON AND MEASURES ALMOST 12\" LONG BY 3 7/8\" HIGH BY 3 1/4\" WIDE.
