Well, after 35+ years of thinking that my G.I.Joe stuff was long gone.. JACKPOT !! recently discovered in Mom & Dad\'s basement - literally HUNDREDS of VINTAGE ORIGINAL G.I.Joe Adventure Team items.. These are ORIGINAL items from the 70\'s that my 2 older brother and myself played with for hours on end.. I thought these items were thrown out many years ago - imagine my surprise when we found the footlocker STUFFED with all of our ORIGINAL G.I.Joe items !! Figures, clothes, accessories.. ALL VINTAGE Hasbro ORIGINAL items.. It is going to days & weeks to go through and get these items all listed - but you have to start somewhere right?? Perfect for the collector or if you are just starting.. Also great as replacement / upgrade items for your G I Joe collection.. My first items to be listed during my \"Summer of Joe\" are 2 CLASSIC pieces from 1974\'s \"Secret of the Mummy\'s Tomb\" set -
1.) Pith Helmet
2.) Pickaxe
I cannot stress enough that these are original, vintage G.I.Joe Adventure Team items..These are NOT reproductions. These are ORIGINAL VINTAGE toy\'s from the 70\'s and were played with.. Both pieces show some very minor wear - the pickaxe does have some of the silver scuffed off an some type of discoloration on one side of handle.. BOTH ends are present and not cracked off. The head of the pickaxe has a \"2\"stamped on one side and \"HASBRO HONG KONG\" on bottom of handle on same side. Measures appx 5 3/4 inches long and appx 3 1/2 inches wide at end of top. The pith helmet is in excellent condition - very clean - no cracks or stains - measures appx 2 1/2 inches round..
