I have this VINTAGE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST SIGNED SNOQUALMIE TRIBE PACIFIC WOOD CARVED PAINTED TOTEM POLE up for sale. It is signed Ray Purcell and just gorgeously carved and very tall. It measures 50\" inches tall x 19\" wide at wings and 13\" deep at base. I will carefully remove the wings to make shipping more affordable. I would prefer it went to someone who belongs to the Snoqualmie tribe or relative of Mr. Purcell. I will pack very carefully for shipping. Here is all the info from the person I purchased it from posted below.\"As for the provenance of the totem, it was carved by Ray Purcell whose brother Dewey was also a carver and their work looks very similar, they are or were (not sure if they’re still alive) both members of the Snoqualmie tribe.The totem was from the estate and collection of Belle Silver, my mother, who had a Native American gallery at 1021-1st Ave. in downtown Seattle until 1978. The store was a pawnshop operated by my mother and father until he passed away,then it became a gallery. The totem was most likely carved between 1969 and 1973 I think. Beyond that I don’t have any other knowledge of the totem or the carver, Mr. Purcell. Hope this helps!\"Keywords:
