Very PrettyVintage Silver Bangle...

This is such a gorgeous bracelet, firstly it\'s an early one - 1947 - just two years after the end of the War, things were very hard and so to have received this bangle then must have been really special. Secondly, it ishand engraved and so beautifully too with scrolling foilaite decoration.

I also love the fact that is is fully hallmarked - so many just say Sterling or silver and the fact that this has a Chester hallmark is lovely as thisassay office closed many years ago.

These types of hollow bangles as often bashed and dinted but this one is in fantastic condition.

The bangle is 1/2\" width and measures 6cm (2 3/8th\")x 5.2cm (just over 2\")inner diameter.

It is a good weight, fastens with a press tongue and has a safety chain.
