* Description *This is Vintage old RARE 100 % Original & Authentic WWII Era German
LUFTSCHUTZM-44, type \"Gladiator\" Helmet used by the Bulgarian Royal ArmyAt the end of the 1930\'s from Germany in Bulgaria were delivered helmets for civilian protection - these are the
so-called Luftschutz, type \"Gladiator\" helmets. The delivery was specially to Bulgaria as the helmets were originally
green painted still in Germany, instead of the standard German dark blue or the rare brownish color.
Were supplied two types of helmets: M-36 which are composed of 3piecesand M-44, made from a single sheet.
The helmets were supposed to be used in the Bulgarian Royal Armyorganization, called \"Anti-Air and Chemical Defense\".The helmet has a emblem which represents big shield which is half white-green-red painted, half black-white-black, in
themiddlethere is a smaller shield with a gold lion on a red base and on the upper part of the emblem in a blue line are
painted the initials in 4 Cyrillic letters the abbreviation of the\"Anti-Air and Chemical Defense\"division - \"ПВХЗ\".
Interior of the helmet has a three leather pads, WWI style and it completes with blackened leather chinstraps.
The reverse interior neck guard is stamped from the Germans producer with a marking: \"RL 2 39\"
The helmet is absolutely authentic, it hasn\'t been cleaned and it is left as it was found !Theoverall condition of the helmet is goodpreserved and authentic for its age !
