Rare Vintage Rawlings First base Mitt endorsed by First Baseman Marv Throneberry who wasan OriginalNew York Met in their 1st Season in the National League.Casey Stengel nicknamedhim MARVELOUS MARV ! Marv could hit and with power but struggled mightily in the field. Mitt is Circa 1961 or 1962. Rated as Rare by Vintage Baseball Glove Guide. This Mitt is 12 inches high X 12 inches wide.Measurements by measuring tape following the contours of the Glove which is correct.Very NiceCondition with No Holes, No Rips and No Seam Separations. Inside the glove where the player inserts their hand has individual finger slots which is very unusual. Inside leather is also smooth with no cracking.No previous player ink writing on this Glove !

The face of the Glove says Rawlings, Model #, MARV THRONEBERRYfactory endorsement autograph, The Trapper Model, Rawlings Claw, Hinged Pad and made in USA.
