Longaberger Baskets are legendary in Ohio and beyond; the baskets are carefully crafted withtraditional materials to provide strength and durability. Collectors know that each basket is signed and dated. This basket was dated and signed in 1967. The original Hang tag is included - model is 300-H. It is now retired.The lid closes with a toggle closure; the lid is hinged with leather and the wooden double handles are secured with brass.The basket also has a wooden riser that also will serve to protect baked goodies . . .This vintage Longaberger picnic basket has three important qualities:
- sturdiness necessary to carry an entire meal
- a lid to protect the contents
- strong handles to carry the basket from vehicle to the perfect picnic spot. Condition: Excellent; appears that it has been used gently.Measurement: 16 1/2\" L. X 13\" W. X 11\" H.
