This is a great looking vintage ROLEX stainless steel SUBMARINER watch. It is in OUTSTANDING condition throughout. It is a reference number 1680 and is from 1979 based on the serial number 579xxxx and caseback. This comes with a BLACK dial, rotational stainless steel bezel with black insert; and stainless steel \"Oyster\" bracelet with diver\'s extension. It features an automatic movement and is running great.

It was just inspected by my local Rolex dealer. They installed new Rolex crystal and gave it a mini-service. It is running great. It did not come with Rolex box or papers, but is 100% guaranteed authentic and accurate as written. This is being offered to you with !

The Rolex Submariner has one of the most storied histories of any watch ever made. It has been the watch of choice for James Bond, and its prototype went to the bottom of the world at the Challenger Deep of the Marianas Trench. Rolex sport watches are the industry standard for toughness and durability.

Movement: Rolex 26 jewel automatic movement, with date Calibre 1570. This is a \"non-quickset\", which means the date cannot be changed independently without the hour hand passing midnight. Running great having been tuned up in December 2017 by my Rolex dealer.

Bracelet/Strap: Rolex 20mm stainless steel \"Oyster\" bracelet with diver\'s extension. It has 2 removable links and is just a bit snug on my 7 1/2 inch wrist. Links are easily found (we have a few) if needed.

Case: Stainless steel 40mm wide case (not including lugs or crown) with: stainless steel rotational diver\'s bezel with black insert; signed stainless steel crown and solid stainless steel caseback.

Crystal: Brand new Rolex scratch resistant plastic crystal.

Dial: Original Rolex black dial with: stainless steel Mercedes hands; luminous (lume is long dead) markers; with DATE at h3.

This is a great example of a rare vintage Rolex diver\'s watch with nice clean vintage look. This is arguably the most popular dive watch (Rolex Submariner) ever made.
