Lot of 2 vintage salad plates pictured. Please use the zoom feature and read description of condition. This pattern was produced in England by Royal Doulton from 1940 until 1961. Backstamp reads - \"From an original drawing by Cutts, Circa 1840.\" Hard to believe these plates are more than 50 years old. Still bright and shiny. Colors vibrant. No chips or cracks, no crazing. they do have minor surface wear, a few light utensil scratches and minor rubs on rim. Plate #1 has a very tiny spot at 5 o\'clock and a barely noticeable one at 7. Plate #2 has a couple of pin sized specks at about 4 o\'clock, you really have to look to see them. Great items to round out a set. These plates are lovely and would look great displayed on a wall or in a china cabinet all on their own. We have other pieces in this pattern available.
