Vintage signed Grosse clip earrings on original sale card with \'reduced\' sale price of £33.50 written on it. You can see where original price label has been removed which had original retail price. Grosse made most of their jewellery for Christian Dior. These earrings are vintage old stock but brand new and unworn. Earrings measure approx. 3/4 of an inch (2cm) x 3/4 of an inch (2cm) with gorgeous baguette cut stones. Signed Grosse on back of earrings and also on the back of the clips. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING. Aboutthe Brand Grosse, the brand name forHenkel and Grosse, began making jewelry in Germany in 1938. In 1945 they turnedtheir attention to the Americanmarkets and began to produce jewelry that was so refined that it looked likegenuine fine jewelry but cost a lot less.They made jewelry for Lanvin and Schiaparelli and in 1955 became the solecreator of Christian Dior Jewellery, an agreement that lasted 50 years.
