Up for offers is a 1937 SingerFeatherweight sewing machine..... this great little machine is still today a popular choice of quilters/ sewers ..... this machine has a production date of Dec. 8,1937. The machine has been cleaned oiled and greased..... new belt installed....... new cushion pad/feet...... new needle. My wife a quilter of 44 years has tested and adjusted the machineand did sample sewing with it ,everything works as it did when it was new 80 years ago....sews nice tight even stitches..... light works .... foot control works.... she gives it a thumbs up!!! My wife loves her Featherweight for its compact, portable design.... makes it easy to take on her weekend quilting retreats. Machine has light gold stencil wear on front which is common with a used machine ...... carrying case shows some wear but is solid.... latches work ,comes with tray and some attachments... key and owners manual. With routine maintenance and care this little work horse will be around for another 80 years .... How many appliances/ machines in your home todayare still running after 80 years????
