lacquered wood box with red velvet lining

wavy lines run across goldtone metallic lid (brass?)

may be used as a cigarette box/trinket box/jewelry box

measures 6 7/8\" x 4 1/8\" x 1 5/8\"

has a small nick to corner / also what looks like some of the gold has rubbed on the back of the box where the lid opens(about 1/2\")
