This offering is for a vintage sterling silver Pineapple Whistle necklace pendant or Christmas tree ornament. Made by Towle Silversmiths of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Engraved on the back with TOWLE, STERLING and 112. A gorgeous piece in lovely, undamaged condition and shows very little if no use. No dents, dings, scratches or monograms. Only light polishing marks. Offered in the 1970’s Towle product catalogs. Measuring one and seven eights (1 7/8”) inches at the widest point and three (3”) inches in height. Depth is three sixteenth (3/16”) inches at the thickest area. Weight is 24 grams. The whistle has a loud, sharp, clear sound or tone. Can be worn with a chain or ribbon (not included). This piece may also be used as a Christmas tree ornament. Making a lovely welcoming addition to your ornament collection. Also, excellent for hailing a cab, personal safety, or calling the dog.
