\"I am always happy to combine shipping to save you money!\"This vintage Hurdy Gurdy child\'s hand-crank music box was made by Mattel in the late 1940\'s or early 1950\'s. This is one sold for Christmas, with the main graphic of children being pulled on a sleigh by a reindeer; some ride the reindeer and others play drums and horns in the overflowing sleigh. Side graphics are children caroling in the show as a fox, owl, and rabbits listen cheerfully. On the kids\' caroling sheet music is cleverly hidden \"Music Arr. by Ted Duncan; Design by Routledge\".
This Hurdy Gurdy plays great, and the vintage - albeit slightly flat and creepy- sound of \"Jingle Bells\" is the best part about the item. The red wooden crank handle is still present, as is the blue and yellow cord that allows the musical toy to hang on the child\'s neck. The paper graphics of this item are in very rough condition, with all the corners and edges rubbed down and the left and right sides over 75% missing. Please view the photos carefully.
