This sale is for a stunning UNITED SESSIONS ANIMATED LIGHTED MUSICAL BALLERINA MOTION CLOCK . Dates around 1950. No best offers please this sale is for a buy it now or offer sale.The clock dial is marked United self starting Brooklyn N.Y. and the back is marked United Clock Corp. Model number 870 along with other information. The animated motion part of the clock is the Ballerina spins one way then back the other way and up and down. The clock has a spinner type music box and it plays a nice song which I think is Edelweiss? The music box has a really nice tone to it. It has no dropped notes and no broken teeth in the music box as you so often find. The clock case is wood and red mahogany with no cracks. There is a mirror type metal surround around the ballerina which gives it a stunning mirror type effect as you can view in the photos. There is a plastic type cover attached to the gold gilt frame in front of the Ballerina which has no damage. In my opinion the clock is in BEAUTIFUL CONDITION but you be the judge by viewing all the photos and ask any questions you might have. The area where the ballerina is located lights up and there is a switch to turn the light ,music and the animation of the dancing ballerina off or on. SUM UP THE CLOCK: THE ANIMATION OF THE BALLERINA WORKS, THE LIGHT AND LIGHT SWITCH WORKS, THE MUSIC BOX WORKS , THE CLOCK KEEPS ACCURATE TIME AND THE CLOCK MOTOR IS QUIET.
