Description:

This is a very attractive vintage solid silver \"Alphabet\" tankard, hallmarked in London during 1937 by Harrods Ltd (Richard Woodman Burbridge).

Apart from just being nice to own it would make asuper Christening present for someone very special.

Size: the tankard measures 4\" high with a top rim diameter of 3\". I havepictured it next to a large tin of beans to give you a better idea of the actualsize.It has been crafted froma good gauge of silver.

Thetankard weighs 7ounces (200g).

Used and vintage, so ithastypical age-related scuffs, scratches and marksthat all silver objects tend to attract over the years,the top and bottomrimsare bothslightly misshapen. I have pictured and indicated the bottom rim dentsabove. The misshapes could probably be professionally corrected if they bother you. In addition there are a few minor dents,dings and ripples around the bodywork commensurate with age and use plusa few stubborn tarnish marks on the inner base of thetankard that will come out with a good polish.

Still a great looking tankard despite the aforementioned faultsas you can see.
