VINTAGE WOODEN FRAME CARVED GOLD TONE GESSO FINISH TEXTURED PRINT CATS & PAINTS:

VINTAGE WOODEN FRAME WITH CARVED GOLD TONE GESSO FINISH IN GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION – some discolorations on the gold, especially at the corner carvings. The frame is 1940 – 1960’s.

Outer measurements of the frame are 24 ½ inches by 28 ½ measured from the back corners.

Contains a vintage print – fluffy kittens playing on an artist palette, swirling the paints around with a fluffy tail. Another cat is watching intently in the background.

The print is on a thick textured background – with no glass – never had glass – this was meant to look like a painting. There is one small “bubble” on the upper edge in the center of the print – hardly visible. My pictures have glare – I have taken several so you can see it is my fault for the discoloration – not the print.

A pretty frame in good condition – no parts of the gesso carving are missing, although there are some minor discolorations.

The frame and contents weigh about 9 pounds before any packing materials.

Measures 24 ½ inches by 28 ½ inches from the outside back corners.

Frame opening for the print is about 20 inches by 24 inches – difficult to get an exact measurement of the opening because of the paper backing. The frame is firm, no wiggle – corners are tight.

Frame is about 2 inches deep and about 3 inches deep at the carved areas. ALL SALES FINAL. I am selling items that have some age to them. Naturally there will be irregularities and flaws, just because of the age.
