A vintage Basis Wristwatch

Mechanical movement.

It is in good working order, with the seconds hand moving nicely. have had it running for several hours now and it keeps excellent time, to the exact minute. The crown pulls out in order to change the time and to wind the mechanism up.

I believe it dates from the 1940s, and strikes me as a military watch.

Case measures 32mm across not including the crown.
