This Eagle Dancer vintageRing is the signature piece of Charles & Mary Ann Poncho, who began working in 1953. It is sterling silver & is signed CMP. This type of ring would have been worn by a Zuni in ceremonials. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks on stones or wear on the stones even though this is a very old piece. This ring is an important part of Zuni art history & highly collectible. The Silver needs some cleaning as seen in some pictures. It is made with mosaic inlayed carved stones of Turquoise, Coral, Jet & Mother of Pearl some are raised & some are flush, this give the ring a lot of color & depth. Approx size: Face of ring--1 5/8\" high & 1 5/8\" width. It weighs approx 12 grams. Ring size: approx 7.5--Can be sized by your favorite jeweler. Insurance fees are included in shipping cost.NON-SMOKING Environment.
