Estate Early 1940s Italian Wedding Trousseau BEDSPREAD (acquired from the original bride), Botanical-Green DAMASK BROCADE with VICTORIAN REVIVAL NEOCLASSICAL SEMI-NUDE GODDESS in the Corners amidst Baroque Vines and Scrolling Medallions. Ultra-Long, thick ROPE-LIKE BRAIDED FRINGE WITH POMS along 3 Sides, Even the Trim on this Spread is Beautiful, Finished to Perfection. I thought perhaps this Piece is attributed to San Leucio (no signature on the fabric or selvages), but I am not a Fabrics Expert so the Best I can do is just observe what I see and Feel. The TOP of the spread is not slippery like traditional rayon, the rear side is however. I thought perhaps a Silk-Rayon Weft but honestly, I just can\'t say for sure. No matter the Fabric, the Spread is STUNNING, and would be Lovely for a Bride-To-Be as a One-Of-a-Kind wedding gift, or anyone who appreciates Fine Vintage Linens. Measures 92X110\", Shown on a Kind Bed. *EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION, The Spread appears UN-USED, Lovingly stored in the cedar chest.
