Vintage/antique Wire Gym Basket From Old Catholic School In Nashvile, Tn For Sale
You are offerding on ONE of the vintage wire baskets. Winner will receive their pick of the basket numbers available. Winning buyer may purchase up to three baskets at the winning price per basket. These baskets are perfect for pine cones, balls of holly and lots of Holiday Ribbons. Great for storage of CD's, DVD's, toys, cosmetics, bath or kitchen items. Also, great in garage for keeping tools and yard supplies.
These vintage wire gym baskets came from the old St. Bernard Academy high school here in Nashville. The high school opened in 1867 andclosed sometime during the mid 60's, however, as a student at the elementary school manyyears later, we used these wire baskets to store our gym clothes. I have a number of these baskets and use them for storing DVD's, CD's, Video games, flower bulbs, etc. They are stackable and they have numbers on them. They are very sturdy....not the lite weight wire stuff. Please feel free to ask questions.
The actual age is undetermined but the nuns say the baskets have been around as long as they could remember. For sure they were there in the 60's when the school closed. Some of the baskets have a little rust on them. I am learning that some collectors actually prefer that so if you are the winning offer you may select a basket with a little rust or a basket with no rust. Winner decides!!

Shipping costs is projected based on one basket. If winner wants to buy additional baskets buyer will calculate shipping costs and charge only shipper's additional costs plus stated first basket costs. There is a flat shipping fee of 1$15.00 in the U.S. except for Hawaii and Alaska. Sorry but you folks cost a bit more to ship to so I will have to calculate shipping if you are a buyer from one of those two states.
