ALLEN D. ELDRIDGE, HistoricalResearcher & Designer; Stephen V. Cole and JAGDPANTHER PUBLICATIONS, Game ESPANAis certainly a rare bird, indeed. Battleline Games of Douglasville, Georgiadidn\'t produce much; indeed, this is the only game of theirs I\'ve ever seen. I bought this at a local game store in the late \'70s and played it a few times. It\'s been in my collection ever since, taken good care of through the ensuing decades. It\'s quite a cool game, fun, and easy to learn and play.

FROM THE GAME\'S INTRODUCTION: \"VIVA ESPANA! is a wargame, or historical simulation, that combines gaming techniques with historical data to duplicate conditions as they were at the time... The event simulated in this game I the civil war that raged in Spain from 1936 to 1939... VIVA ESPANA! is basically a two-player game [can be played solitaire, as I have],with one player playing the Nationalists and the other the Republicans...\"

complete set ofpunched game pieces (counters) in excellent condition - extra-thick for ease in handling and die-cut, of course.
20-pageRules Booklet, including extensive variants, optional rules and players\' and designer\'s notes.

This is a real find for any serious wargame collector and hard to find in this quite decentcondition! VIVA ESPANA!
