For your consideration is this fabulous vintage and discontinued Colossal Coaster lighted music collectible from Enesco. These items are currently for sale on line for up to $850! The coaster features 2 couples in historic dress riding the coaster and one family awaiting their turn. The coaster plays a number of songs, and when the metal wheels touch the top of the coaster rails the people squeal with delight.
Cosmetically the item is in gorgeous condition with no chips, nicks, repairs or cracks. The characters have great details in their faces and clothing. In fact, when I purchased it still had small styrofoam balls clinging to it so it had been stored in the box. I do not have the box. The item is dusty and could use a gently dusting. The people are all present, the chain across the coaster entrance is still present and attached, the cars move along the track nicely, the lights work and the sounds are crisp and clear. The motor hums and is very strong. The gears have received WD-40 and seem to all be fine.
I will list all cons and have included pictures. We both work full time here and don\'t have time to chase down repairs.
The cons:1. As is the case with most of these, the belt needs to be nudged to start, and nudged and nudged....but it does go. The belt actually looks solid so it may be a gear not hitting right. Hubby says it seems as though the bottom gear at the base of the coaster may be off balance since the belt sits a bit to the side. Could be just that simple, or it may need a belt.2. The lights are functional on 1/2 of the unit- there are 3 areas where the wires have been severed and need to be spliced together.3. A couple globes over the light bulbs have fallen off.4. While lubing up the first car separated from the rear cars; the linkage is intact but it separated from the car at the plastic - some Crazy Glue and a steady hand should do the trick.5. No power pack included because this one is from my home - it is a standard travel DVD power pack that I have used for images

Otherwise a really great piece and an afternoon of work for someone handy will bring this piece back to it\'s original glory.
